A weekend in Bournemouth!

Bournemouth held one of its noisiest events of the year: The Block Party.

This is the night when Lansdowne is transformed into a wonderland for 2000 party people, with one wristband giving you access to a range of music and venues, from 8:00pm-5:00am. Party goers went to see the best live acts and DJ’s around, such as Example and Caspa.

Venues included were:  Ibar, The Inferno, Litten Tree, The Old Firestation, Dusk Til Dawn and Fruit Bar.

Some had a very good night, Chris Smith described it as “Sick”, however, Tasha Bennet thought differently. She expected an incredible night but was very disappointed with the prices and the venues.

Local residents who lived near the venues were not pleased either, complaining it was “noisy and rowdy”.  The noise continued well into the early hours of the morning, and the mess and broken glass the morning after was vast. Fights also broke out, meaning the police had a very busy night.
